Vision
A group of us, including our Bishop and Pastor, began gathering to talk, pray, and dream. What would it look like to reimagine liturgical worship for today?
Not just a service. Not just a church.
But a community that feels alive.
St. Luke’s Independent Catholic Church is not a church plant in the traditional sense. We are not launching a program. We are gathering people who want to be part of something sacred and real.
We believe the church can be:
Sacramental without being rigid.
Catholic without being controlling.
Grounded in liturgy without being stuck in the past.
Inclusive without exception.
Spirit-led and open to mystery.
This is a place for those who have been hurt by church and still long for the beauty of worship. For those who love the sacraments and crave a spiritual home that speaks to today. For those who want to help build a church where no one has to wonder if they belong.
We are not looking for perfection.
We are looking for people with heart, with passion, and with the courage to step into something new.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for people who:
Want to help shape something meaningful.
Believe in inclusion and the power of the sacraments.
Are creative, committed, or simply curious.
Feel drawn to community and connection.
Can bring their gifts, time, and voice—even in small ways.
You do not need to have experience. You just need to be willing to show up with openness and care. We will grow this together.
